Software like the "3D-AGS" (3D-Advanced Graphics System-see our screen shots!) graphical enhancement addon, new area sceneries, books, tips, and informal user support. The noteworthy contributors are:

• Simon Hradecky of Austria, developer of the collection of ATP utilities called ATPUTIL among many other products. He has also assisted many ATP users via his participation in Compuserve's FSFORUM for years. Simon and many other ATP users have recently moved to the SIMGAMES forum of Compuserve.
• Harry Zanin of the "Flight 642" BBS now "Services Plus" in Canada for providing support to ATP and 3D-AGS users via the Internet and Compuserve.
• Enrico Schiratti for his ATP, FS4, and FS5 utilities over the years.
• Peter de Moor for his fine "ATP Utilities and Information" Europe website.
• Martyn W G Thomas for his "ATP Book"
• Peter Leadbeater and others for their ATP scenery efforts.

Keeping ATP alive has truely been an international effort! Much continues to happen in the ATP world-with the promise of more in the future!

OTHER ATP NOTES AND EVENTS
Simon Hradecky hosted an ATP Conference and Virtual Airline Competition in June 1996 in Salzburg, Austria. The big news from Simon is that he's developing new aircraft with far more accurate flight models for ATP starting with an MD83! Click here to read his notes from the conference!

REVIEWS OF NEW ATP PRODUCTS
We here at FSNews hope to be able to provide you with timely reviews of new ATP products in very near future! We recently received a copy of the "ATP Swiss Scenery" for review and hope to have "ATP Around the World" very soon! Both are from FlyLogic. Check with the sources on these pages for prices and availability.
AN ATP USERS GROUP?
In December of 1995 I posted a proposal in the rec.aviation.simulators newsgroup to start an "ATP User's Group" somewhere on the internet. I received about 20 replies indicating interest in such a group. I hope to use this page as what would at least be a User's Group newsletter. I am trying to fulfill the need to publish the latest information to all concerned. Thanks for your interest. I think we can get by for now without a formal group. Peter de Moor has recently added a list of ATP user EMail addresses to his website noted above.

WHAT ATP USERS WOULD LIKE TO SEE IN THE FUTURE
Solicited from many current ATP/3DAGS users-your opinions wanted!

• Fix the bugs and quirks in the original ATP code.
• More aircraft! An FS4 or FS4/AAF to ATP aircraft converter?
• More static scenery! Can't someone get the rights to convert the Mallard/MicroScene FS4 Japan, Hawaii or Tahiti scenery to ATP format? "Cover the world" with an ATP CDROM scenery set for the entire planet!
• Dynamic scenery like FS4/FS5!
